"To help, we suggest below mini-resolutions that employers can make — at least one per month. While we can't guarantee that a resolution every 30th day will keep the DOL or private lawsuits away, logic dictates that employers who maintain best practices are less likely to get big back wage bills following an audit or to be on the wrong end of a large damages award in court."
