The Employer's Guide to the Fair Labor Standards Act recently published "Year in Review: Nary a Dull Moment For Wage and Hour Watchers" by Shlomo D. Katz, a member of Brown Rudnick's Litigation Department and key contact in the Wage & Hour practice group.  The article summarizes and reviews the notable wage & hour developments in the year 2015.

From the article:

"As 2015 draws to a close, there’s a great deal for followers of wage and hour law to look back upon. It was a busy year for the U.S. Department of Labor, private litigants, the courts and lobbyists for both employers and employees — indeed, for anyone with an interest in the Fair Labor Standards Act, the law that establishes the federal minimum wage and the obligation to pay overtime to nonexempt workers who labor more than 40 hours in a workweek. Even the popular media took note of some FLSA developments this year, though not always accurately."
