Mr. Ryan is Chief Executive Officer of Brown Rudnick and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. A senior partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Finance Department, he also maintains an active practice representing public and private companies in turnaround and restructuring situations in and out of bankruptcy.
Mr. Ryan has represented principal parties in the successful reorganization of businesses in a variety of industries, including airline transportation, biotechnology, chemicals, computer services, health care, manufacturing, real estate, retail and telecommunications.
Recent Matters • Representing the Official Creditors Committee in the Chapter 11 reorganization of Global Crossing.
• Representing 1st lien bondholders in the successful defense of litigation brought by Calpine Corporation before the Delaware Chancery and Supreme Courts seeking to appropriate bondholder collateral.
