Kiersten Taylor is an associate in the Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Department. Her practice centers on complex corporate restructurings. She frequently represents debtors, official and ad hoc groups of creditors, equity interest holders, and other parties-in-interest, including funds and other financial institutions, in Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 proceedings. She has experience in all phases of the restructuring process, from "first day" issues to plan confirmation and related disputes.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Representation of court-appointed liquidators of Fairfield Sentry Limited, the largest feeder fund to Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities, in cross-border insolvency and litigation proceedings.
  • Representation of court-appointed external administrators of Awal Bank BSC in cross-border insolvency and litigation proceedings.
  • Representation of Beacon Power Corporation in its Chapter 11 proceedings, including the resolution of its financing and other relationships with the US Department of Energy.
