Aja-Fullo L. Sanneh is a restructuring associate in the firm's New York office. Her practice focuses on complex corporate restructurings in out-of-court workouts and in-court Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 cases.  Aja's practice involves a multitude of restructuring-related matters, with particular focus on Chapter 11 plans of reorganization and liquidation, disclosure statements, fraudulent transfer and preference avoidance actions, lender and insider liability claims, DIP financing, multi-lender syndicated loans, term and revolving credit facilities and makewhole provisions. 

Aja represents bondholders, official and ad hoc committees of shareholders and creditors, foreign representatives and individual borrowers.

Before joining Brown Rudnick, Aja served as a judicial bankruptcy extern to the Honorable Judge Barry Russell in the Central District of California, worked at the ACLU and worked on entertainment agreements on behalf of the "talent."


Tidewater Inc.: Representation of the Official Equity Committee of Tidewater Inc., one of the largest providers of offshore service vessels in the global energy industry, in connection with a restructuring of the company’s approximately $2.04 billion of debt

Azure Midstream:  Representation of the Official Equity Committee in the Chapter 11 proceeding of Azure Midstream Partners, LP, a Dallas-based provider of natural gas gathering, transportation, and processing services, and NGL transportation and crude oil logistics services

Ultra Petroleum:Representation of an Ad Hoc Equity Committee in the Chapter 11 proceeding of Ultra Petroleum, a leading independent energy company focused on exploration and production of oil and natural gas

Implant Sciences Corp.: Representation of the Official Equity Committee and post-confirmation Liquidating Trustee in the Chapter 11 proceedings of Implant Sciences Corp. and its affiliates, a Massachusetts-based public company involved in the domestic security and explosives trace detection market

Chellino Crane, Inc.: Representation of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors for one of the largest crane companies in the Midwest, which specialized in servicing refineries, power and chemical plants. This representation involved overseeing a Section 363 sale of all of the Debtors’ assets and investigating and pursuing causes of action on behalf of the Debtors’ estates

Mt. Gox Co., Ltd.: Representing the Japanese Bankruptcy Trustee of the failed global Bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox, which had been the world’s largest exchange for this digital currency, in connection with the company’s Chapter 15 case in Bankruptcy Court in Texas and related litigation in the United States
