Biography

Elliot J. Weingarten is an Associate in the Litigation group in the Washington D.C. office. Elliot represents a wide variety of clients in complex litigation and investigations. His experience ranges from representing corporations and individuals in SEC and DOJ investigations, to representing both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation.  He has handled cases involving FCPA violations, improper disclosures, insider trading, business torts, and contract breaches.

Elliot also maintains an active pro bono practice and regularly represents low-income tenants in eviction proceedings. In 2017, Elliot received the Making Justice Real Pro Bono Award from the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia.

Prior to joining  Brown Rudnick, Elliot was an associate in the litigation department of an international law firm in Washington, D.C.
