White Collar Defense & Government Investigations


Martha Baselga is an associate in Brown Rudnick's White Collar Defense & Government Investigations group. Martha is a dual-qualified lawyer: she originally qualified as a Lawyer (Abogado) in Spain following which she qualified and was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
Martha has vast experience in advisory and advocacy defence work in extradition and general crime and has litigated on behalf of clients facing prosecutions in many foreign jurisdictions. She advises clients on extradition and mutual legal assistance and has a special interest in cross border investigations.

Martha advises individual and corporate clients involved in bribery and corruption and complex fraud investigations conducted by the Serious Fraud Office and other prosecuting authorities and she also assists entities and companies in their internal investigations.
Martha is a committee member of the British Spanish Law Association.

Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Martha was an associate at Kaim Todner Ltd where her main area of practice was extradition defence.
