Litigation & Arbitration


Melanie Burke is an associate in the Commercial Litigation Group at Brown Rudnick.

Her experience includes an internship at the US Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts, Criminal Division, where she drafted briefs for pending criminal cases brought by the government. Previously, Melanie served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Raymond J. Brassard of the Massachusetts Superior Court. In this role she conducted legal research, wrote bench memoranda for a variety of civil cases and observed courtroom proceedings during criminal and civil sessions.

During law school, Melanie was the Managing Editor of the Northeastern University Law Journal. Melanie graduated from Boston University in 2009 with a dual degree, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and her Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
