Tom Braiden is an associate in the International Corporate Group.

He advises on a wide range of corporate matters, including public company takeovers, primary and secondary offerings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital, commercial contracts and general corporate advice. Tom's practice covers a wide range of industries.

Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Tom was an associate with Slaughter and May in their London office, during which time he spent 6 months on secondment with both FirstGroup plc and The Arsenal Football Club plc.


Advised Arix Bioscience Plc, a global healthcare and life science company that sources, finances and develops both start up and later stage companies across the healthcare and life science sectors, on its initial public offering and admission to trading on the standard segment of the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.  Arix, headquartered in London with an office in New York, raised total gross proceeds of £100m in its oversubscribed initial public offering.

Advising ED&F Man Holdings Limited on its purchase of the entire issued share capital of Maviga plc.

Advised the shareholders of Parkwalk Advisors Ltd, the UK’s leading university spin-out focused EIS fund manager, on the sale of Parkwalk to IP Group plc.

Advising family offices on structuring and executing a number of joint venture transactions.

Representing both investors and investee companies in connection with numerous venture capital transactions.
