Government Law & Strategies


Vanessa Krawczyk is a Government Relations Specialist in Brown Rudnick’s Boston office. She brings a broad set of project management and media relations skills to the team, including strategic communications, event planning and public affairs management.

Vanessa is responsible for supporting the team's client needs by tracking and managing media, drafting media materials (such as press releases, media advisories and talking points), coordinating media relations outreach and managing communications strategies. She manages clients’ lobby registration and reporting with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Secretary of State's Office - Lobbyist Division. Vanessa also supports the Government Law & Strategies team with oversight of its administrative operations.

Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Vanessa was Director of Operations at Boston World Partnerships, an economic development networking company created by Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino to help business leaders worldwide understand and access Boston's competitive advantages. From 2000 - 2007, Vanessa worked at the Massachusetts Port Authority as a Human Resources Assistant and later as a Communications and Public Affairs Administrator. On the communications team, she assisted the Director of External Affairs with managing the public agency’s advertising, marketing and media operations as well as community and government relations.
