Vincent Rubino is a partner in Brown Rudnick’s IP Litigation group.

Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Mr. Rubino was an attorney at Kenyon & Kenyon LLP where he focused primarily on patent litigation. He has represented a wide range of clients in the smartphone, wireless, semiconductor, and biotechnology industries with respect to all aspects of patent litigation. Mr. Rubino has litigating cases throughout the United States in all popular patent venues including E.D. Texas, California, Florida, Delaware, and New Jersey as well as the International Trade Commission (ITC) the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).

With several technical degrees including advanced degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Imaging, Mr. Rubino brings extensive technical experience to every matter. He utilizes his technical experience to convey complicated technical matters in case-critical briefs and motions including several Markman hearings and pretrial conferences that resulted in favorable case resolution. Additionally, he has assisted at numerous bench and jury trials and has worked closely with experts regarding issues of patent validity, infringement, and damages.
Vincent has also represented a vast array of clients before the PTAB in more than 50 inter partes review (“IPR”) and covered business method (“CBM”) proceedings.

Defended computer manufacturer in patent litigation in district court related to biometric security products. Obtained a favorable settlement after claim construction. (D. Del. Judge Leonard Stark).

Obtained favorable settlements for Patent Owner in series of five cases involving semiconductor technology after Markman briefing (E.D. Tex. Judge Rodney Gilstrap)

Successfully represented Barnes & Noble against Microsoft in ITC action involving all aspects of Barnes & Noble’s Android tablets. (ITC Judge Theodore Essex)
